About Readstone United
Formed over 30 years ago, Readstone United is an England Football Accredited grass roots Junior Football Club in East Lancashire serving communities in and around the villages of Read and Simonstone.
The Club is managed by volunteers and whilst our main purpose is to provide opportunities to play football, we know that being part of a Club and a member of a team not only offers a great environment to make new friends and learn new skills but also offers opportunities to grow and develop as a young person.

We welcome children regardless of their ability, experience or life difficulties because we believe that the game, especially in the primary school years, should be accessible to everyone and not just those with a gift or good fortune.
We currently have teams from U7’s to U18’s and we are affiliated to the East Lancashire Football Alliance League which plays matches on a Sunday.
Parents
We believe that football should be fun for everyone and as adults we have an important role to play. It’s important to the Club that Parents are familiar with our rules, policies and procedures, codes of conduct and general philosophy so they can contribute positively to their child’s experience and development.
